We love the outdoors and especially equestrian pursuits. Over the last few years we have lovingly restored the farmhouse property where we live with the help of local craftsman. “We stayed at Rose & Jonty’s beautiful home for 4 nights. The pictures really don’t do it justice, the accommodation is stunning, especially the open plan kitchen/living room upstairs which is so bright and airy with incredible views. The kitchen has literally everything you could possibly need, and the wood burner is such a treat. The main bed is extremely comfortable (and king size) too, and every night’s sleep was so peaceful. Rose and Jonty were excellent hosts and I couldn’t recommend their place enough”.

Rose and Jonty are excellent hosts, giving helpful information on how to find the cottage, providing information on local walk and being available to ask questions when needed. The cottage is perfect for a secluded retreat with great beds, a very well equipped kitchen and cosy living room. We had the most amazing few days, making the most of the beautiful Quantock Hills and the warm fire! Thanks to Rose and Jonty we are starting 2017 relaxed and refreshed.

“Before we had even arrived Rose and Jonty were in contact to make sure we had a smooth journey and all the directions we needed. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and shown our beautiful cottage. There was a wonderful cream tea waiting for us with amazing homemade scones and a bottle of wine. We felt spoilt before our mini break had even started.
The cottage is delightful with all modern conveniences and is beautifully finished. We wanted for nothing.
The surroundings were pure joy, completely secluded and quiet, surrounded by hills and more hills, whilst dogs, cats and horses completed the idlyic setting, the perfect get away from a busy lifestyle.
All together a perfect stay and one we would not hesitate to repeat.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. This is an enchanting “escape” in the most stunning location. The cottage is beautifully fitted out, and extremely comfortable, with perfect attention to detail. Beautiful quality bedding, soft fluffy towels, well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area, a gorgeous wood-burning stove… plus a bottle of wine and lots of posies of fresh sweet peas! The views are breathtaking, as you are quite literally surrounded by soft rolling countryside – you can walk for miles without using the car at all. Rose and her family were really warm and welcoming, and very happy to help with any queries or requests. We had a blissful week and would highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay.

Couldn’t recommend this any higher. It is a stunning location in the middle of the countryside and the cottage (converted stables) is a beautiful modern conversion with everything that you need. Clean, spacious and with all mod-cons this is a gem.
Rose was an excellent host, providing us with everything that we needed in advance and even offering us the opportunity to stay past check out if needed.
A wonderful place to stay and wish we had been able to stay longer.
